HOW WE
WORK
Four coordinated stages of action, from foundational research to large-scale V2X deployment. Every stage is driven by the member organizations who bring the expertise to make it real.

JOIN FORCES
ACROSS SECTORS
The Coalition for Cyclist Safety unites 49 member organizations across the automotive, cycling, telecom, technology, and public sectors. Each holds one piece of a system that can only help cyclists when every piece arrives together: the bicycles, the vehicles, the chipsets, the networks, and the roads.

COLLABORATE ON
SOLUTIONS
Member-led working groups span five areas: technical standards, certification, deployment programs, safety rating protocols, and communications. What they produce each year is published in our Activity Report.

DEPLOY V2X
TECHNOLOGY
Deployment means real streets. V2Xperience brings cooperative ITS to everyday intersections in Helmond, and members Canyon and nfiniity unveiled the Roadlite:ON V2X, the first high-performance urban e-bike to fully implement the current automotive connectivity standard.

ADVOCATE FOR
SUPPORTIVE POLICIES
The Coalition partners with government bodies, regulators, and safety rating programs, most recently through our position paper calling on Euro NCAP to award points from 2029 for vehicles that act on standardized messages from cyclists. Every argument stands on evidence anyone can check in our free Road Safety Data Explorer, covering 39 countries.
Be Part of the
Coalition Today
The Coalition for Cyclist Safety brings together leading experts across sectors. Cross-sector collaboration is not optional, it is the only path to getting V2X technology deployed at scale. Your organization's expertise is needed to make safer roads a reality.
