Coalition members Canyon and nfiniity have built the Roadlite:ON V2X, the first high-performance urban e-bike to fully implement the latest automotive connectivity standard. The production-ready bike lets bikes and vehicles sense one another even without a direct line of sight, alerting the rider through the handlebar grips and surfacing bikes on in-vehicle displays.

The Coalition for Cyclist Safety took part in the International Transport Forum (ITF) in Leipzig, where the Coalition had the opportunity to show why greater cyclist safety is a key enabler of sustainable mobility, climate goals, and Vision Zero. The Coalition also used the event to show that early, tangible use cases are essential for building acceptance and achieving the market penetration this technology needs. The Coalition for Cyclist Safety leaves Leipzig with valuable ideas, new connections, and real momentum for a safer, more connected, and more inclusive mobility system.

The Coalition for Cyclist Safety held its inaugural face-to-face event in Amsterdam, bringing together leaders from the automotive, cycling, and V2X technology sectors united by a shared mission to make roads safer for cyclists. Live demonstrations featuring Spoke, Audi, Volkswagen, Bosch, and Commsignia proved V2X technology’s immediate safety potential, while strategic workshops produced concrete action plans for accelerating deployment worldwide.
